Terms of Service
These terms are subject to change suddenly and without notice should I feel the need to update things based on circumstances and events.All commission progress is shown publicly on my website. If you need to know where I am in the stage, check there rather than sending a dm. I will provide you a weekly or bi-weekly update through a dm as I work on your commission, so you will always be up to date on progress.My Rights- I have the right to deny any commission without providing a reason.
- I have the right to blacklist certain clients without providing public reason.
- I have the right to post my art anywhere I choose as well as make speedpaints to promote myself as an artist. If you would like to keep a commission private, a $25 privacy fee will be added to your total. At no point will I remove a commission from my gallery unless you have requested the commission be private later down the line and pay the $25 fee.Usage Policy- Only the commissioner and I can use the artwork made for them. Commissioners can print out or have physical products made of art they’ve purchase and use it for recreational purposes, but not for any monetary gain.
- I don’t allow commercial usage of my art at this time.
- None of my work is free to use. You do not have the right to print, use, or claim any of my art as your own (if it’s not your commission or is my own personal art) for monetary gain. This includes selling, copying, altering, tracing, or removing my signature or watermark.
- Under no circumstances use my art for AI in any regards.Ordering- If you wish to remain anonymous when credited as the commissioner or in my public queue, please let me know ahead of time in your messages. This does not count as your commission being private unless you request it not be posted for the added fee.
- I don’t start commissions right away, so if you notice a mistake or forget anything, you have 2 days after payment to notify me of the change.
- I do not allow for a character or idea to be changed after I have accepted a commission. Please be sure of who and what you would like me to draw before commissioning me.
- Currently I only take commissions through dms on the sites I use that are listed on my home page. Please keep all responses in one message or note thread, and avoid deleting the previous messages in the thread.
- If requesting a rush order or one with a strict deadline, I must be given the correct amount of time to complete the commission in order for me to accept the order. Suddenly dropping a deadline on me without it being previously discussed will result in a doubled fee.
- All changes to a commission must be made at the sketch phase only. I will only do 2 edits total for a single piece. Unless I have missed a marking or have made a mistake on a finished painting, I will not edit a finalized piece.
- You will receive a rough sketch for approval after I get to your commission in the queue. Once approved, I don’t show any other visual drafts/wips throughout the process, as it is not something I’m comfortable with. Customs and refsheets are the only exception to this rule.Payment- All payments are done in CAD. USD equivalents will be given to non-Canadian residents, but payment must be sent as CAD when the invoice is sent.
- Payments must be made within 48 hours upon receiving an invoice unless a payment plan has been discussed beforehand.
- Failure to pay within the allotted time will result in a warning and reminder.
- I do not accept 50/50 payments. I will not provide a sketch until payment has been paid in full.
- If the invoice has remain unpaid after 1 week, the commission will be dropped, and a temporary hold will be placed on you requesting a commission. Multiple incidents will result in a ban as a client, or loss of bonuses received from your status as a regular.
- If you have ordered or requested a commission and you need to wait until payday, the deadline for the invoice will be set to the day you have specified.
- Payment must be made in full before I start working. Payment plans can be arranged for commissions over $200 CAD, but the commission will only be started once the invoice has been paid in full.
- Payment plans must be split into equal parts of $100+ and no lower. I will not accept random payment amounts at random intervals. Payments must be made either bi-weekly or monthly until the total has been paid in full.
- You must be the legal holder of the payment account, and 18 years or older to order a commission. You may not use a friend’s or relative’s account to pay for a commission.
- You must be 18+ to order NSFW. I accept no legal responsibility for those who lie about their age to commission NSFW.Refund Policy- I only administer refunds if I am unable to complete your commission. I always keep in constant contact with my commissioners with weekly or bi-weekly updates, so should delays come up at any point, you will be notified and kept up to date at all times.
- I will not administer refunds for reasons unrelated to my ability to complete the art, such as you suddenly needing money for something, or that you randomly decide you no longer want the art. I am not responsible for your spending, and art isn’t something you just return like an item to a store.
- If you request a refund for any reason, I will not accept the same commission again at a later date. Depending on the circumstances, I may decline all future commissions from you should you request a refund.
- You must wait until the end of the 2 month (60 days) completion window which begins at the time of your sketch being approved before being able to request a refund. I will not administer manual refunds before this point. I require 1 week minimum to issue a refund after it has been requested. The refund stages below will be based on what is posted to my public queue.
• A commission that has not been started can get a 90% refund.
• A commission that has been sketched can get a 50% refund.
• A commission in the rough painting or rendering stages cannot receive a refund of any amount. This is due to the amount of hours put in, and how art at these stages are often finished quickly once at these stages.
- Purchased adoptables, characters, YCH, or designs cannot be refunded. All sales on these are final.
Rushed commissions are non-refundable. If you need sketch approval for a 24-hour request, I’m not responsible if you fail to get back to me in a timely manner and it increases the timeframe of completion.CHARGE-BACK INFORMATION + POLICY- I offer manual refunds, so at no point should a charge-back be issued. Upon issuing a charge-back, the client should be able to provide some sort of negligence, or neglect and loss of communication on my part regarding a manual refund. I keep dated logs of all communication between every client and I to refute any unwarranted claims.
- If using a charge-back to void my refund policy the following actions will be taken:
• The client’s rights to the product in question will be forfeited. The product will be resold or utilized in other ways as compensation.
• The client will be blacklisted, both for myself and on a public space to warn fellow artists of their charge-back.Updated: 08/12/24

- I have the right to post design and adoptable art anywhere I choose as well as make speedpaints to promote myself as an artist.Usage Policy-You must credit me as the original designer when posting/uploading the design. You can link back to me on toyhouse or to my carrd, always as @echiax.
You don’t need to credit me every time you draw or commission art of your character, only when it’s appropriate or if someone asks about their design.
- Adopts and customs are for personal use only. I don’t allow commercial usage of my art at this time.
- You do not need to keep the name, lore, or description I’ve added to the adopt or design, and can change it as you see fit.
-You are allowed to alter, tweak, or adjust the design as you see fit, so long as the original artwork isn’t altered and is done so in a new image, either drawn by you or another artist.
- You do not have the right to make a closed species out of a design you get from me. Doing so will get you blacklisted.
- Under no circumstances use my art for NFTs or AI in any regards.payments- All payments must be made in full before the design is transferred to your ownership.
- There are no refunds accepted for customs or adoptables. All sales are final.
- when paying with a payment plan, the files and rights will be transferred to you once the invoice is fully paid.
- holds are available for set times based on discussions between the buyer and myself, and vary based on situations, or your status as a regular.
- if you back out of the purchase, you will be blacklisted from future sales, and the design will be sold to the next highest bidder.reselling- You can resell, trade, or gift your adopt as you wish, but only for its original value, or the added value with any added art you get of it.
- If rehoming your adopt or custom, I would appreciate being informed of the change of ownership.
